Location: A bona fide California beach town, Venice Beach captures everything weird and wonderful about the West Coast. Artists and street musicians line the colourful boardwalk, and shops vend flowing bohemian silk dresses and medical marijuana. Some female guests noted the boardwalk was “creepy” enough that they returned to the hostel early.
